WESTMINSTER, CO, Oct 2, 2026 – Trimble recognized four transportation and logistics organizations in its inaugural 2026 Momentum Awards for projects involving AI, cloud migration, in-cab software and food distribution. Trimble presented the awards during the 2026 Trimble Insight conference.

“The recipients of our inaugural Momentum Awards exemplify what happens when vision and technology align within the Trimble ecosystem to solve supply chain challenges,” said Michael Kornhauser, senior VP, transportation and logistics at Trimble. “By harnessing AI, cloud modernization and connected workflows, these customers are not only optimizing their own operations – they’re actively setting a new benchmark for resilience, efficiency and community impact across the entire transportation industry.”

The winners and their projects were:

  • AI Automation Vanguard Award – SFI International worked with Trimble to integrate AI and large language model capabilities into ICC/Innovative and other core applications. The project focused on process automation and workflows for drivers and office staff. The category recognizes applications of AI and automation to logistics bottlenecks and predictive accuracy.
  • Transformative Pioneer Award – Hogan Transports migrated customers individually from an AS/400 system to Trimble TMW.Suite and Trimble Reveal software. The third-generation carrier worked with Trimble on a two-year rollout across operations with more than 10,000 trucks and more than 100 locations nationwide. Hogan maintained service continuity, reduced operating costs and gave executives visibility across its business divisions. The category recognizes operational changes involving Trimble deployments.
  • Technological Innovator Award – Jasper Engines & Transmissions used driver feedback during a required software upgrade to standardize in-cab workflows across 53 branches nationwide. The company worked with Trimble to refine Smart Workflow and Trimble CoPilot software. Jasper operates a private fleet of more than 170 trucks. Its approach addressed initial driver resistance and established a process for subsequent technology rollouts. The category focuses on user adoption, internal “super-user” advocacy and organizational changes accompanying technology deployments.
  • Extra Mile Award – Deseret Transportation replaced manual spreadsheets with TMW.Suite, PC*Miler software and the FleetHub communications platform to coordinate logistics and hours-of-service compliance. The nonprofit transportation arm of Welfare and Self-Reliance Services for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints used the software during its “America 250” campaign. It donated 250 truckloads totaling 8.5 million pounds of food banks across all 50 states. Deseret operates 40 tractors and 107 refrigerated trailers. The category recognizes safety, community service, heroism and other contributions involving people in transportation.

Trimble’s customer success and sales teams submitted all nominations. Submissions described technology applications and documented operational results using measures such as revenue impact, fleet size, hours saved and time reductions.

A committee selected the winners by consensus against each category’s criteria. Judges came from Trimble’s customer success, program management, brand, public relations and revenue teams.
