BICESTER, UK, Oct 2, 2025 – TUAL has opened a new standalone headquarters at Bicester Motion, strengthening Oxfordshire’s hub of automotive and engineering innovation. The cross-functional facility unites TUAL’s commercial product development, testing laboratories and prototyping under one roof, creating a customer-facing environment designed to accelerate collaboration and advance the company’s battery-buffered EV charging and powerbank solutions.

The headquarters also gives TUAL access to Bicester Motion’s test track, allowing live demonstrations and evaluation of its charging technology. This setting supports the development of the TUAL’s PowerUp charger, a battery-buffered DC charging unit designed to address grid capacity limits. The system is deployable and built to provide fast charging where fleets operate, reducing reliance on public infrastructure.

TUAL will continue its software development operations in Glasgow, Scotland. The new site at Bicester Motion provides space for customer engagement and innovation, supporting the company’s two-location growth strategy.

Phil Clarke, founder and CEO, TUAL, said: “The move into our new full-service site represents a pivotal step in TUAL’s journey. It gives us the space and visibility to accelerate commercial product development while welcoming customers into an environment designed for collaboration and real-world testing. With the PowerUp Charger already proving its capability in challenging fleet environments, these facilities allow us to build on that momentum and deliver new innovation to market faster.”

Daniel Geoghegan, chief executive, Bicester Motion (APC), said: “TUAL’s technology is redefining what’s possible in commercial EV charging, giving fleet operators and owners of grid-constrained sites the flexibility to fully commit to the EV transition. Their new standalone site at Bicester Motion reflects both their ambition and the growing importance of dependable charging solutions to the wider mobility sector, so we’re delighted to see the business expand its presence here.”

The move follows a series of milestones for TUAL. The company partnered with Polarium to deploy cloud-connected LFP batteries into its PowerUp charger systems. It has also expanded deployments across Scotland, demonstrating the chargers’ performance in remote, grid-constrained locations.

TUAL’s new site is located at Bicester Motion, opposite Hagerty and Penske Racing Shocks, immersed in the Bicester Motion ecosystem.
