SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Oct 5, 2026 – Use.ai has reached 1 million monthly active users less than a year after launching its consumer AI workspace. The service lets users switch among more than 10 models, including GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek, within the same conversation without losing its context.

Users can combine models for research, writing, planning and content creation. The free Answer Engine runs on open-weight models configured by Use.ai. A paid subscription provides access to additional models and more features.

Co-founder Ihor Herasymov launched seven businesses and built a technology company to more than 100 employees and $3 million in annual revenue within two years. His experience managing separate conversation histories and preferences across AI services prompted him to develop Use.ai.

“I pay around $1,000 a month for premium subscriptions because those accounts hold years of my history. My preferences, my work, my life. I don’t want to lose that context whenever a better model appears,” said Ihor Herasymov, co-founder of Use.ai. “That’s where Use.ai began: one account, leading AI models, and context that stays with you.”

Use.ai is developing automatic routing that selects a model for each task. It also plans tools that incorporate more user context over time.

“We build for consumers, not developers”, said Herasymov. “Our users shouldn’t need to follow model releases, compare benchmarks or decide which model is best for every task. That’s our job.”

Use.ai’s development plans include a personal assistant that uses preferences, routines, schedules and conversation context to coordinate models and connected applications. Proposed functions include booking appointments, researching products, comparing prices and completing purchases.

In one proposed workflow, a user could request a haircut appointment for the following week. With permission to access the calendar, the assistant would identify the user’s salon, compare appointment availability with their schedule, book a slot, update the calendar and set a reminder.

Another proposed workflow would research running shoes based on preferences and training habits. It would compare retailer prices and availability, with purchases subject to user confirmation.

“Our goal is to minimize the effort between ‘I need something done’ and ‘it’s done,’” said Herasymov. “We want Use.ai to be where your AI relationship begins and where it stays, regardless of which model wins next.”
