Vention Appoints Paul Lunow as CTO for DACH Region

A new CTO takes charge in the DACH region, driving strategy and AI adoption. He emphasizes responsibility, with trust and creativity central as teams navigate technological change.

BERLIN, Germany, Oct 2, 2025 – Vention has appointed Paul Lunow as chief technology officer (CTO) for its DACH region. In his new role, Lunow will lead the region’s technical vision and strategy, working with clients to design and deliver digital solutions.

Paul Lunow has joined Vention as chief technology officer for the DACH region, bringing experience in guiding startups, mid-sized companies and enterprises through complex technology decisions. In his new role, he will shape client technology strategies, lead discovery processes and ensure engineering standard across engagements. Lunow will also expand Vention’s AI-driven offerings, including workshops and advisory services designed to help organizations apply AI for growth, efficiency and innovation.

In this role, Paul will work with Glyn Roberts, Vention’s UK CTO and head of its AI Group. They will integrate AI into engineering practices to help European clients adopt new technologies while maintaining quality and accountability.

Paul will speak at the upcoming CTO Craft Con in Berlin, delivering a keynote titled “Building High-Trust Teams in an AI-Enabled Engineering Org.” His session will cover practices to build psychological safety, support experimentation, and improve human-AI collaboration in engineering teams while maintaining accountability, ethics, and autonomy.

He also served as CEO and CTO at NEPOS GmbH and was head of technology and innovation at XU Group. In addition, Paul co-hosts the “Product and Cake” podcast, which explores building tech products and the people who create them.
