VIGO Photonics Acquires InfraRed Associates for $8.4M

The deal expands VIGO’s U.S. footprint and adds infrared detector capabilities for defense, medical and industrial customers

STUART, FL, Mar 26, 2026 – VIGO Photonics, the U.S. subsidiary of VIGO Photonics S.A has acquired the assets of InfraRed Associates for USD 8.4 million, expanding its U.S. presence and infrared detector capabilities. The deal strengthens access to defense, industrial, medical, and scientific markets. InfraRed Associates brings expertise and customer relationships in the United States. The acquisition broadens VIGO Photonics’ product offering and supports faster service for customers across North America.

The transaction also received support from the Foreign Expansion Fund managed by PFR TFI S.A. (part of Polish Development Fund Group), highlighting backing for the global expansion of Polish technology companies.
