DAYTON, OH, Apr 28, 2026 – Woolpert rose to No. 36 on Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) 2026 Top 500 Design Firms list after increasing revenue, expanding its workforce, and completing acquisitions. In 2025, the firm grew from about 2,700 to more than 3,200 employees across five continents, while annual revenue rose from about $650 million in 2024 to more than $750 million in 2025.

ENR’s annual Top 500 Design Firms list ranks companies that provide engineering, architecture, environmental, and related design services. The ranking is based on design revenue generated in the United States and abroad.

The ranking follows Neil Churman’s appointment as president and CEO in January 2025. During the year, Woolpert added more than 500 employees through acquisitions and organic growth, while expanding its architecture, engineering, and geospatial capabilities across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

Woolpert acquired Bluesky International and Dawood Engineering in 2025, followed by acquisition of UMC Architects in April 2026. The company also reported its ninth “Great Place to Work” certification, launched its “Great Place to Give” charitable program, and recorded the highest annual sales level in its 115-year history.

“This latest achievement reflects how our people are coming together globally to deliver complex, meaningful work for our clients,” Churman said. “From data centers and defense to maritime, mining, transportation, and large‑scale geospatial programs, we continue to support projects that matter. We’re building a company that grows with purpose by investing in our people, our capabilities, and the communities we serve.”
