MUNICH, Germany, and WESTFORD, MA, Sep 9, 2026 – Zuken has released E3.series 2027, the latest version of its software for wiring, wire harness, fluid and control systems design. The update adds browser-based access to project documentation, single-command generation of 2D cabinet manufacturing views and expanded 3D panel and harness tools.
Browser-Based Project Access
E3.CloudView is a browser-based application that provides access to project documentation without a local software installation. Administrators manage access rights and can assign them by organizational requirement. Through a supported web browser, users on the production floor, during commissioning or while servicing equipment in the field can view electrical schematics in 2D, explore panel layouts in 3D and navigate project data with the Jump function.
Workflow Updates
A new search capability in the settings dialog locates configuration options, and updated Variant and Option handling improves navigation and editing of designs. Engineers can place multiple symbols at once, setting their spacing, orientation and visibility, instead of placing each symbol individually.

Cabinet Documentation in 2D
E3.series 2027 can generate 2D Manufacturing Views of an entire enclosure. A single command produces multiple views that previously had to be created one by one, reducing the time to build a manufacturing and assembly reference from minutes to seconds.

3D Panel and Harness Data
The release also expands 3D data support. E3.3DPanelBridge converts mechanical panel models into native E3.panel design objects, identifies elements such as plates, mounting rails and cable ducts, and prepares the panel data for component placement and routing. E3.3DTransformer 2027 adds editing and maintenance tools for 3D harness data, including topology-attribute editing, model-tree search improvements, simultaneous updates to shared data across multiple objects and updated support for CATIA, Creo and JT formats.

“E3.series 2027 focuses on practical improvements to how teams access project information, complete common design tasks, and prepare documentation for manufacturing,” said Robert Baur, managing director at Zuken E3. “Electrical design data is used by more than just the engineers who create it, so we are continuing to make that information easier to access, work with, and carry into downstream processes.”
Availability
E3.series 2027 is available now.
