WESTFORD, MA, Apr 29, 2026 – Zuken has released GENESYS 2026, updating its model-based systems engineering platform to give engineering teams browser-based access to system model data and faster ways to manage work across distributed projects.
GENESYS 2026 includes updates across performance, browser-based collaboration, diagramming, reporting, and usability. The release is aimed at teams working with interconnected system models that require review, coordination, and shared access across engineering and non-engineering functions.
The release expands access to model-based information through SIDEKICK, a web-based collaboration client. SIDEKICK gives reviewers, project managers, and domain specialists a browser-based environment to access model-derived information, track responsibilities, and participate in structured workflows without requiring desktop access.

Zuken also updated core modeling workflows in GENESYS 2026. The release improves diagram loading, navigation, cross-project performance, project open times, and report generation, while also helping users organize and act on assigned work in distributed development environments.
The release adds new diagram layout and formatting options to help users create and interpret model views. Reporting enhancements support faster generation and sharing of model-based information, while additional usability updates improve daily interaction with complex models.
“GENESYS 2026 focuses on addressing common challenges in scaling model-based systems engineering across complex development environments,” said Andy Henderson, principal product manager for GENESYS at Zuken. “By improving performance, accessibility, and usability, this release supports teams working with large system models and extends access to model-based information across functions.”
