JIANGSU, China, Apr 11, 2025 – Gstarsoft has announced the acquisition of CadLine, a Hungarian company specializing in building information modeling (BIM) software development. With the acquisition complete, Gstarsoft enters the BIM market – a move that fits into its broader plan to expand globally and serve industry needs.

The global BIM market is seeing steady growth, supported by digital transformation efforts, government policy initiatives, and a rising focus on improving efficiency in the construction sector: CadLine’s core product, ARCHLine.XP is positioned as an intuitive and user-friendly BIM design software that combines the precision of CAD with visualization capabilities. It provides a comprehensive workflow from 2D-floor plan drafting to 3D modeling, technical documentation generation, visual design, and supporting design collaboration.

ARCHLine.XP utilizes a custom-built BIM engine developed over years of refinement, offering reliable performance and stability. This enables handling complex architectural and interior design data, providing a consistent modeling foundation and supporting the execution of large-scale projects. The software supports common CAD and BIM file types, including RVT, IFC, SKP, OBJ, FBX, PDF, and DWG/DXF. It enables continuous interoperability between software tools and enhances cross-platform collaboration, supporting efficient and connected workflows across platforms.

“Gstarsoft is committed to providing customers, including those in the AEC industry, with the most advanced industry solutions,” stated William Wang, Gstarsoft’s head of overseas sales. “CadLine and its ARCHLine.XP product perfectly align with our customers’ needs. This acquisition will strengthen our BIM product portfolio and provide global customers with more comprehensive solutions, helping them improve efficiency, optimize design processes, and reduce project costs.”

CadLine’s managing director Zoltan Toth stated, “An important moment for the CadLine team is the announced strategic cooperation with the publicly listed company Gstarsoft. Cadline’s main strength is the professional, intellectual knowledge accumulated over decades, which is embodied in the ARCHLine.XP BIM product. We are now combining this knowledge with Gstarsoft’s leadership in CAD software and its global influence in the global CAD/BIM market for hundreds of thousands of users.”

This acquisition will enhance Gstarsoft’s technical capabilities and position in the 3D CAD market. It will support the development of an integrated product ecosystem covering 2D design, 3D modeling, and BIM collaboration, helping the company offer complete solutions for the AEC industry.

Gstarsoft is confident about the prospects of expanding into the European and global BIM markets. The company’s CEO, Xiang Lu, stated, “This collaboration will fully integrate the core strengths of both parties, continuously enhancing product competitiveness and innovation. Moving forward, Gstarsoft will leverage its proprietary BIM technology platform to respond more agilely to market demands, deepen product innovation, and provide global customers with more efficient digital tools for design and construction.”
