An all-electric SUV hits the road with free charging and major rollout plans. Backed by real partnerships and infrastructure, the move to electric is getting faster, easier, and more accessible.

PASAY, Philippines, Apr 14, 2025 – VinFast launched sales of the VF 6, a fully electric B-segment SUV, at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). The company also introduced a free charging program via V-GREEN-operated stations and announced strategic partnerships with leading Philippine dealerships and banks.  The initiatives highlight VinFast‘s commitment to accelerating the adoption of green mobility in the country.

In the Philippines, the VF 6 is available in two trims: Eco and Plus, with MSRPs of 1,419,000 PHP and 1,610,000 PHP respectively. Deliveries of the VF 6 Eco are expected to begin in May 2025.

Developed in collaboration with Torino Design, the VF 6 features a design inspired by the concept of “The Duality in Nature,” aligning with VinFast’s design language. Its overall dimensions (length x width x height) are 4,241 x 1,834 x 1,580 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,730 mm. The EV-based architecture allows for an interior space similar to C-segment gasoline vehicles.

The VF 6 has an electric motor that delivers up to 150 kW of power and torque of 250 Nm (Eco) or 310 Nm (Plus). It offers a maximum range of up to 480 km per full charge (NEDC standard). It also includes 20 advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) features and 8 airbags, ensuring safety for families with children.

The VF 6 includes a warranty of 7 years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The company is working with partners like Motech and JIGA to come up with a network of 100 authorized service centers across the Philippines by the end of 2025.

As part of the VF 6 launch, VinFast is introducing a free charging program at its charging station network, available until May 1, 2027. The network, operated by V-GREEN, plans to install 15,000 charging ports across the Philippines in 2025.

VinFast has signed MOUs (Memoranda of Understanding) with EastWest Bank and BDO to explore financial solutions that support its EV ecosystem. The partnerships aim to offer financing options to support EV adoption in the Philippines.

Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, said, “We’re thrilled to launch the VF 6 at one of the Philippines’ most prestigious auto shows and contribute to the strong momentum behind green mobility. With its smart, comfortable, and cost-efficient performance, this model is poised to become an essential part of the modern family’s sustainable lifestyle. We hope it will replicate its segment-leading success in Vietnam and receive the same enthusiastic response as seen in the European market.”

Nguyen Thanh Duong, CEO of V-GREEN, added, “We are proud to partner with VinFast in building a comprehensive and convenient EV ecosystem. Expanding the charging network not only supports customer confidence in choosing VinFast EVs but also strengthens public awareness of electric mobility infrastructure in the Philippines. Together with VinFast and our local partners, we’re working toward a greener and more sustainable transportation future for Filipino communities.”

By expanding its product lineup and developing a comprehensive EV ecosystem – including charging infrastructure, showrooms, and service centers – VinFast reaffirms its commitment to supporting the Philippines in its green transition. Through its “For a Green Future” model – efficiently implemented in Vietnam – VinFast aims to support the Philippines’ sustainability goals while offering a streamlined experience to local consumers.
