A five-year agreement introduces 3D space planning and product configuration tools. The platform supports personalized furniture selection and shortens delivery timelines for both online and in-store purchases.

VELIZY-VILLACOUBLAY, France, July 14, 2025 – Dassault Systèmes has announced a five-year partnership with BoConcept to integrate 3D room design and product configuration into BoConcept’s customers journey across 65 countries. The agreement will see BoConcept adopt the HomeByMe platform, enabling customers to design and configure interior spaces using virtual tools that support layout planning, product selection and customization. The goal is to streamline the buying process by connecting design intent with real-time visualization and configuration capabilities.

With HomeByMe, BoConcept addresses the needs of customers who prefer both online and in-store shopping by offering customizable furniture options and service that speeds up delivery. The platform allows BoConcept’s designers to share their expertise in a digital manner, helping customers create their own space. This approach aims to improve customer satisfaction and support BoConcept’s sales.

HomeByMe offers a 3D room planner that allows vendors to design interiors using an intuitive digital interface. The platform also includes a web-based product configurator that vendors and customers can use to adjust furniture color, materials, and size, and view these changes through a high-definition (HD) virtual model. Customers can work with staff in BoConcept’s 300 stores to refine their designs and complete their orders for made-to-order furniture. By connecting customers and vendors over digital designs, BoConcept streamlines the planning and sales process, reduces manual steps, and passes data to the supply chain to support faster delivery.

“Personalization, individual style, and expression in the home are important to our customers who seek a strong digital experience and fast delivery times,” said Søren Hansen, head of IT, BoConcept.  “By partnering with Dassault Systèmes, our ambition is to elevate our customers’ buying journeys and show our commitment to provide them with flexible interior design services and industry-leading customization of our made-to-order furniture.  HomeByMe solutions will enable us to take these furniture buying and selling experiences to a new level.”

“Retailers who embrace technology that inspires customers to create their dream home lead the industry,” said Annabel Chaussat, CEO, 3DVIA, Dassault Systèmes.  “Virtual assets are the enabler of new products and services for end-consumers.  At a time when 34% of Europeans say they want to use a configurator for their next living room furniture purchase, with HomeByMe, BoConcept can respond to this trend and position itself as a leader.”
