VELIZY-VILLACOUBLAY, France, Apr 25, 2025 – Dassault Systèmes has announced its Q1 FY25 results, reporting $1.57B in revenue – a 10.3% decrease from $1.75B in Q4 FY24 – with a profit of $259M.
First Quarter Financial Highlights
- Software Revenue by Geography:
- Americas revenue increased by 7%, accounting for 43% of total software revenue.
- Europe revenue rose by 1%, representing 36% of software revenue.
- Asia revenue grew by 5%, contributing 22% of software revenue, led by performance in India, Southeast Asia, and Korea.
- Software Revenue by Product Line:
- Industrial Innovation revenue rose by 8% to €793 million, supported by contributions from CATIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA, and NETVIBES. This segment accounted for 55% of software revenue.
- Life Sciences revenue remained stable at €293 million, representing 20% of software revenue.
- Mainstream Innovation revenue increased by 2% to €347 million, making up 24% of software revenue.
- Software Revenue by Industry:
- Growth was observed in aerospace & defense, high-tech, and industrial equipment sectors.
- Strategic Software Metrics:
- 3DEXPERIENCE software revenue increased by 17%, representing 39% of eligible software revenue.
- Cloud software revenue rose by 7%, accounting for 25% of software revenue.
- 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud software recorded a 41% year-over-year increase.


Pascal Daloz, Dassault Systèmes’ chief executive officer, commented: “In February this year we announced Gen 7, the new generation of representation of our customers’ virtual universes – we call it 3D UNIV+RSES. This seventh generation of MODSIM data, powered by AI and spatial computing, makes the 3DEXPERIENCE the next-generation platform for knowledge and know-how, establishing it as a global IP management platform. Early customer feedback confirms that platform-based AI leveraging virtual twins creates competitive advantage.”
Rouven Bergmann, Dassault Systèmes’ chief financial officer, commented: “In the first quarter, our revenue is driven by strong subscription growth of 14%. As a result, recurring revenue now represents 86% of software revenue, highlighting the resilience of our business model. Regarding operational efficiency, we reached the upper end of our EPS guidance and saw strong growth in operating cash flow, increasing by 21% as reported.”
