DeepRoute.ai Expands AI Horizons with AI Spark Platform

by | Mar 18, 2025

SAN JOSE, CA, Mar 18, 2025 – DeepRoute.ai unveiled an AI spark platform to build an AI-driven “road brain” system to empower a variety of moving objects. The expansion beyond automobiles marks a milestone in the company’s pursuit of achieving RoadAGI – artificial general intelligence on the road, bringing AI-driven mobility to a wider range of applications in various industries.

The AI Spark platform uses a vision-language-navigation model to help various objects understand natural language commands, interpret surrounding semantic information, and travel between locations without depending on high-definition maps. It connects indoor and outdoor environments, allowing safe and adaptable interaction with the environment to complete tasks.

DeepRoute.ai has expanded its work on producing smart driving cars. Since August 2024, more than 40,000 vehicles equipped with its technology have been sold. New models featuring the Vision-Language-Action (VLA) system are slated to launch in June 2025. With projected sales topping 200,000 units, the company continues improving its spatial perception, understanding, and interaction systems. This progress sets the stage for the next phase of RoadAGI.

“Expanding beyond smart driving cars is a natural progression of our AI strategy,” said Maxwell Zhou, CEO of DeepRoute.ai, “With tens of millions of miles of road data, we’re expediting the pace to build a ‘road brain’ that will empower everything on the road, ultimately enhancing our daily lives. The AI Spark system can enable the robot to transit seamlessly from kitchens to public roads, to offices and parks.”

At NVIDIA GTC, DeepRoute.ai is presenting its smart driving advancements, including the DeepRoute Spark demo and RoadAGI strategy. CEO Maxwell Zhou will deliver a virtual speech on the company’s approach to expanding AI-driven mobility beyond cars.
