HUNTSVILLE, AL, Apr 14, 2025 – Hexagon’s Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial division announced that HxGN dC3 LidarVision was named a leading innovation by the Security Industry Association (SIA) at the 2025 SIA New Products and Solutions Awards in the intrusion detection and prevention solutions (physical) – wired or wireless category.

LidarVision is an advanced 3D surveillance software solution based on volumetric detection technology. Using 3D LiDAR sensors and Hexagon’s proprietary AI neural network, DeepTection, it identifies and visualizes threats in a digital representation of reality, or a digital twin, to create an immersive experience for protecting entire areas with accuracy.

“Hexagon is honored that HxGN dC3 LidarVision has been named a new innovative solution by the Security Industry Association,” said Mladen Stojic, president of geospatial and security for Hexagon’s Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial division. “This distinction underscores how transformative LidarVision is to the physical security industry and the impact it is already making. Airports, national rail networks, energy providers and other critical infrastructure segments are working with LidarVision to protect people, places and assets around the world.”

LidarVision is part of Hexagon’s unified physical security portfolio, HxGN dC3. By managing the entire lifecycle of a security-related event, HxGN dC3 helps organizations detect, command, control, and collaborate for better response.
