SAN JOSE, CA, Apr 1, 2025 – Hisense Broadband Multimedia Technologies Co., Ltd. has announced the consolidation of its North American business operations to form a new entity, LIGENT Inc., officially registered in Delaware, USA. This move aims to streamline the operations and help the company to serve its customers in North America and Europe.
The new independent entity combines the expertise resources of Hisense Thailand (Manufacturing), Hisense Photonics (R&D and Manufacturing), and Hisense Broadband North America (S&M, R&D, and Quality Service Assurance), creating a team that will continue to drive innovation and deliver services and values to its customers.
The consolidation has begun, with the first phase completed in April 2024. The initiative will continue over the next few quarters, aiming to minimize disruption to customers and partners. During this transition, HBMT is committed to maintaining quality service and support while pursuing growth.
