
WASHINGTON, DC, June 24, 2025 – The Siemens Foundation has announced the appointment of John Kowal, president of Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. and head of the Americas for Siemens Healthineers, to its Board of Directors.
As president of Siemens Medical Solutions USA and head of the Americas for Siemens Healthineers, Kowal oversees operations across North and Latin America. His responsibilities cover the Siemens Healthineers portfolio, which includes medical imaging, laboratory diagnostics, therapy solutions, and services. His role involves managing key areas of healthcare and technology across multiple domains. With over 25 years of experience, he brings perspective that aligns with the Foundation’s focus on healthcare access and economic development in underserved U.S. communities.
