SEATTLE, WA, May 14, 2025 – NetActuate has expanded its infrastructure in Seattle, Washington, to support the region’s demand for AI and high-performance computing. The move aligns with the growth of the local technology sector.
NetActuate has expanded its presence within Digital Realty’s Westin Building Exchange (WBX) facility. The deployment is designed to support emerging infrastructure requirements, including AI, machine learning, low-latency connectivity, and scalable compute workloads.
NetActuate provides access to high-density facilities across the greater Seattle area. These sites support rack configurations up to 100 kW, suitable for workloads involving AI, high-performance computing, and GPU processing. The sites have dark fiber connections to the Westin Exchange and provide set, cost-effective power. This setup allows efficient integration with NetActuate’s global infrastructure.
Anchoring in a Thriving AI-Driven Tech Hub
NetActuate has expanded at the Westin Building Exchange with access to the Seattle Internet Exchange (SIX). The setup supports low-latency data transfer with over 250 carriers and service providers. The facility includes approximately 40,000 cross-connects and is designed to maintain high availability, suitable for consistent-performance workloads like AI and edge computing.
“This expansion reflects our strategic focus on enabling AI-driven services and high-demand applications in one of the most innovative technology markets in North America,” said Mark Mahle, CEO of NetActuate. “Our Seattle deployment is not only a cornerstone for cloud and media providers – it’s now a destination for organizations running advanced AI workloads that require serious infrastructure.”
Purpose-Built for AI, Cloud, and Streaming at the Edge
Through backbone interconnection with the facility of Equinix, NetActuate provides access to AWS and Azure. The Seattle POP supports hybrid cloud setups and multi-region AI workloads, inferencing, and analytics.
Seattle’s proximity to hyperscalers and a growing number of AI and streaming clients has made it an key location for providing low-latency services near end users. NetActuate helps businesses move beyond centralized cloud systems by delivering content and AI-driven insights at the network edge.
A Strategic Gateway to Canada and the Pacific Northwest
NetActuate’s presence in Seattle provides cross-border connections to Canadian cities like Vancouver and Calgary. This supports companies with regulatory or latency needs that prefer to operate within U.S. borders. The expansion also prepares for NetActuate’s planned deployment in Portland, Oregon, later this year.
