HELSINKI, Finland, June 10, 2025 – Eficode has appointed Patrik Sallner as its new CEO. Patrik’s appointment follows Ilari Nurmi’s decision to step down as CEO after six years of leading Eficode.

Patrik has led technology and service organizations for over 20 years, with experience spanning Europe, Asia, and the U.S. In previous roles as CEO of OpusCapita and Fonecta, he oversaw business growth through both sales’ expansion and acquisitions. At MariaDB, he focused on building relationships with major cloud providers, including Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and IBM. Over the past 20 years, he has run businesses with software development teams across Europe, Asia, and the US.

“On behalf of the entire board, I would like to extend our appreciation to Ilari – his leadership has been instrumental in establishing Eficode as a leading player in DevOps and AI.  I am pleased to welcome Patrik as the new CEO at an exciting moment in our journey as we build on our strong foundation and accelerate our growth,” says Sebastian Inger, chairman of the Board of Eficode.

“Eficode’s potential to shape the future of AI-powered software development in large enterprises is exceptional,” says Patrik Sallner. “I am excited to lead the next phase of growth, reinforcing our position as Europe’s DevOps leader while helping customers navigate the opportunities AI brings to software development.”
