These advancements enhance the overall Roland DG user experience by optimizing device and operational performance, improving print output quality, and increasing ease of use and convenience.

VersaWorks 7 RIP Software
VersaWorks 7 is included with all new Roland DG inkjet printers and is also available as a free upgrade for existing customers with compatible models. It supports the macOS and Windows operating systems and is designed to improve the functionality of Roland DG printers, ink, and media. VersaWorks 7 includes new features and updates while retaining the previous version’s core functions and user interface. Features include the following:
- Wide Variety of Color Settings: It includes Roland DG’s “True Rich Color” setting, built-in PANTONE and Roland Color System libraries, and a “Nearest Color Finder” function that helps identify and apply spot colors for consistent color matching, such as with brand logos.
- Easier Navigation: The interface is user-friendly for new and experienced VersaWorks users. The home screen provides an overview of the operating status of up to four printers and shows remaining ink levels.
- Increased Memory and macOS Support: Memory usage has been increased by over 62% compared to the previous version, allowing the software to utilize better the processing capabilities of both Windows and macOS, which Roland DG Connect supports. The users can handle large files and complex data, and the software supports the simultaneous processing of up to four files across four printers.
- Secure Output Data Storage: VersaWorks 7 output data is stored in the Roland DG Connect cloud platform, which includes tools for tracking ink and media usage, performing essential maintenance, analyzing costs, backing up jobs, and managing settings.
