
MUNICH, Germany, Mar 27, 2025 – Siemens has officially announced the completion of Altair Engineering Inc.‘s acquisition for approximately USD 10 billion. With this acquisition, Siemens strengthened its position in simulation and industrial AI, bringing new mechanical and electromagnetic simulation capabilities into its portfolio. It also expands its high-performance computing (HPC), data science, and AI expertise. By integrating Altair’s team and technology, Siemens aims to enhance its robust digital twin offering, empowering businesses of all sizes to streamline product development and reduce time to market for complex innovations.

The acquisition of Altair is part of Siemens’ ONE Tech Company program and will increase Siemens’ digital revenue share. The growth program enables Siemens to further expand its market position and reach the next value creation level.
