Siemens, nVent Develop 100 MW AI Center Architecture

Creates a reference architecture that integrates liquid cooling and power distribution to support 100-megawatt AI data centers and enable scalable deployment of compute-intensive infrastructure

ZUG, Switzerland, Dec 10, 2025 – Siemens and nVent are building a joint reference architecture to help data centers manage the intense heat and heavy power draw of compute-intensive AI systems. The design lays out a plan for liquid cooling and power distribution, giving operators a way to expand AI capacity globally  in new and retrofit sites.

The joint architecture from Siemens and nVent is designed to support 100 MW hyperscale data centers built for liquid-cooled AI systems such as NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD with DGX GB200 systems. The design outlines a Tier III-capable layout that combines Siemens’ electrical and automation systems with NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD reference designs and nVent’s liquid-cooling technology.
