TOULOUSE, France and RADOLFZELL, Germany, June 18, 2025 – As the Paris Air Show begins, Spherea has announced plans to acquire the U.S. subsidiary of Konrad Group. The move marks a thought-out step in expanding its footprint in North America and aligns with the company’s international growth objectives.
Konrad GmbH and Spherea Group have entered into an agreement for Spherea to buy the US subsidiary of Konrad Group, Konrad Technology US formerly known as VI Engineering.
Located in Farmington Hills, MI, the U.S. subsidiary provides engineering and integration services for automated test equipment, with customers in defense, automotive, consumer electronics, and medical sectors. The acquisition allows Konrad to refocus and consolidate its global operations, while giving Spherea an operational base in the U.S. market. The transaction is expected to close later this summer, subject to regulatory approval.
